Japanese students

I have an exam on Wednesday. After finished the exam, I rushed to SF because my friends who is tutoring for Japanese students was supposed to introduce the students during their SF trip. I met them at Exploratorium nd went to see Golden Gate Bridge together. Actually, this is the second time I visited here. But the last time was about 8 years ago, so this time was kinda sentimental.

After that we went to Union Square and just walk around there.

I said good-bye to them at 4:30, and then went a quick sightseeing.

SF is always attracting.

Arizona visiting 6 -last day-

For lunch, my old friends took me a dim-sum restaurant. Again, I ate too much dim sums. Maybe I might have gained weight in this trip.

I met another old friend who I met in Tucson in the afternoon with a Thai friend. We went West Gate city center and Cabela's. After coming back to school, we had been chatting until evening.

Dinner was at an Italian restaurant. I could "See you again" for almost all old classmates by this chance.

It was a nice visiting in the early summer.

Arizona visiting 5 -Frank Loyd Wright-

Frank LoydWright is famous for a modern architect and designer. There is a kind of memorial museum in Scottsdale, Arizona. We rant a car and went there in the morning, and then headed to the Taliesin West. 

It was so hot and very dry. We were using the red umbrella against strong sunshine. The buildings were very cool and sophisticated even though it has been for long time. 

Because I like Frank Loyd Wright and his designed architectures, I felt one of my dream came true.

After the museum tour, I went to eat lunch at an Italian restaurant in Scottsdale. I ate too much X(
After that, I unluckily had a headache, so took a rest.

At night, I went to FIREBIRDS, a steak restaurant. Although I couldn't eat so much, I tasted a nice cake, too.

There was a Thai-club dinner event at my friend’s home. Although I’m not a member of this club, I was supposed to join it. 

We went Lee Lee’s supermarket, a big Asian market, and bought 14 crabs. The shop employee was a little surprised because of such a big number of crab.

We prepared for the crab party. We stabbed and boiled the crabs.

Because the actual time that the party started was almost 9 pm, we went to eat frozen yogurt shop. 

I thought I ate a year amount of crab only this day.

We went to a Korean restaurant that we used to for lunch.

In the afternoon, everyone studied at the library.

I hadn't gone to watching movie for long time.  Because TED, the stuffed bear comedy and love story, looked interesting, we went to AMC.

It was awesome. In my opinion, it was the best movie in this year. so funny!!

I went to an Indian restaurant for lunch. It's located at near Walmart. The taste was not bad.


July 4^th was the Independent day, so most of services were closed. This national holiday is famous for the day of fireworks over the nation.

We rent a car-sharing car on campus and used the light-rail for heading to Tempe where the biggest fireworks event was held in Arizona. Because the day time looked cloudy, I thought the fireworks event might be canceled, but, fortunately, it was getting fine after evening.

The park which the fireworks event was held was so crowded. There were many shops inside the park as well. Also, there was a big stage where some bands were playing music.

The fireworks went off at 9:20. Beautiful fire was shining in the night sky. It took 30 minutes. It was so memorial event.

Because the light-rail for going back home was so crowded and slow, we were late for returning the rented car.

At night, we ate late dinner, a healthy ramen.

I visited old friends in Arizona. In this time, I used Southwest airline because its tickets were least expensive online. But, because only the nearest airport that Southwest stop was Sacramento Intl Airport, I needed to drive there in the morning.

It was really hot. I felt hot air and wind at the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. My friends picked me up at the airport. And then, we went to Kaneya Sushi, a Japanese restaurant in Glendale, for lunch. The owner looked like Japanese but I immediately recognized they were Korean because of their typical Korean accent. The food was Okay but its Tenpura was not Tempura... It was just a fried shrimp…

After that, because my friends have a class, I studied at the library of the school. But the library was closed at 3pm at this day, so I moved out of the library. Suddenry, I found a Thai friend who is an accelerated-program student on campus. We entered a study room and were chatting for a while. It was nice seeing them again!
