The internship

I have been doing an internship at an tech company in San Francisco. A good thing of American working style is, unlike Japan, people don't work overtime if unnecessary. Especially on Friday, some worker leave the office after 3 - 4 pm. It's impossible for workers in Japan.

Kiraku in Berkeley

I went to Berkeley and study for a day. I met my Japanese friend who is in Ph. D program in Berkeley. We went to a Japanese Izakaya restaurant and talked for two hours. It was nice meeting him again.

Helping moving

One of my friends is moving out from the old apartment. Some other friends and I helped his moving. He rent a big truck of PENSKE. Moving from his apartment into the truck took for a half of day.

After that, we went to an Italian restaurant and join dinner of English department members. It was a good night before my friend's leaving.

worst jet-lag

I've still been suffering from the jet-lag. It's the worst one ever...

Home party

The first party of this year in CA was at my Saudi friend's home. Other people who joined it were Cambodian, Brazilian, Chinese, American, and me.
My friend told me Brazilian style sake cocktail which is mixed with fruits. I tried a pineapple sake cocktail. It was great!! I should have known this drink earlier.

We also played a small roulette as a drinking game. After that, we played "Truth or Dare" that I haven't done for a long time. It was so exciting.

In the late night, my friend was totally fucked up Lol We took care of him for a while. We went to McDonald's to get a midnight snack.

Back to the U.S.

9 hours flight brought me to California. Because I watched five movies, I couldn't adjust my jet-lag in the plane.

The first movie I watched was ELYSIUM. The setting was like a space colony of GUNDAM. It was easy to understand. I like it.

The second one was the RoomMate. It's a Japanese suspenseful story.

The third one was Fast & Furious 6. It's a car chase story. Explosion of an airplane was so exciting.

The forth one was the Internship. It was so funny. I got very interested in Google's internship, even though I will never have such an opportunity Lol

The fifth one was Lone Ranger, but I fell asleep a bit, and the plane arrived at the airport, so I couldn't watch the ending.

I was so tired...
