Yosemite hiking -Misty Trail-

This was the first time I went to Yosemite National Park.

It took about three hours to get there.

We started hiking about 2 pm and ended up coming back about 8 pm, so it was a 6-hour hike.

There are so many steep slopes, so those ramps were very tiring. I managed to complete the whole trail.

There many cute squirrels. The view from the top of the rock wall was fantastic!

The Mammoth Burger

I went to Grizzly Rock Cafe as a local's night event. My purpose was to beat Mammoth Buger which was an enormous burger.

I felt it was a kind of torture, but I eventually managed to eat it up.

It was like a big monster.

Japanese grocery, Walkman, and Japanese students

I went to Stockton to get some Japanese stuff such as rice, snack, and curry paste at a Japanese grocery store. The staff member of this store is very friendly and kind. They always talk to each customer.

Also, I bought a new Walkman because old one was stolen...

At evening, my friend invited me to his home, so I just visited and talked to him. We watched a Japanese crazy movie directed by Miike.

At night, I attend a farewell party of the Japanese student who I met at San Francisco and the county fair. It was fun. They performed their original(?) dance.

SF quick visit

I had a stats class in the morning, and then I headed to San Francisco right after the class.

I met my friends at the shopping mall near the Union Square, and I ate Korean lunch.

After that, we visited to China town and PIER 39 by walk.

And then, we ended up stopping by Ghirardelli Square.

When we were going back, we stopped by BOUDIN, a famous shop for clam chowder.

We walked a lot again...

The county fair

Each county has own annual "County fair." There was one in my city as well. The location was a big park by a stock farm, so there are many animals in the event place. I met Japanese students who had come for a short term study abroad again. I met one of my American friend and drank a fresh milk shake. It was really nice.

Actually, I visited the fair twice. The second time was with my another friends, and we departed from our campus because there was a free shuttle bus.

We watched a Chinese acrobatic show. It was awesome!!

Also, there was a potable theme park, so we challenged some rides.

Even thous such a small town, this was a nice local event.

Japanese students

I have an exam on Wednesday. After finished the exam, I rushed to SF because my friends who is tutoring for Japanese students was supposed to introduce the students during their SF trip. I met them at Exploratorium nd went to see Golden Gate Bridge together. Actually, this is the second time I visited here. But the last time was about 8 years ago, so this time was kinda sentimental.

After that we went to Union Square and just walk around there.

I said good-bye to them at 4:30, and then went a quick sightseeing.

SF is always attracting.

Arizona visiting 6 -last day-

For lunch, my old friends took me a dim-sum restaurant. Again, I ate too much dim sums. Maybe I might have gained weight in this trip.

I met another old friend who I met in Tucson in the afternoon with a Thai friend. We went West Gate city center and Cabela's. After coming back to school, we had been chatting until evening.

Dinner was at an Italian restaurant. I could "See you again" for almost all old classmates by this chance.

It was a nice visiting in the early summer.
