Halloween 2013

I applied an exam for my graduation at school. I went shopping to buy cleaning stuff, a set of inkjet printer paper, and Halloween costume. Yes, this is the day I am supposed to wear any costume in public. I decided to wear a set of zombie clothes, but I wore the Ted head as well.

I went to George's burger again for dinner with my friends. I ate Hawaiian burger. It was huge but tasted good.

And then I attended an Cambodian Halloween party. I didn't even know that there are so many Cambodian whose grand parents came as refugee in this city.

I hopped several bar but eventually went to a home of one of them. It was interesting.

From L.V. to L.A.

I left from Las Vegas in the morning for Los Angeles. I arrived at Victoria Garden. I was stayed there and doing homework until sunset.

I met my Thai friends at Shinsengumi, a Japanese sukiyaki & shabushabu restaurant, for dinner.

I ended up staying their "house" near Huntington Beach because they were renting a house rather than staying a hotel.

We played a card until midnight. It was so fun!!

Driving in the dark for Las Vegas

To attend a conference, I drove for Las Vegas in the early morning. It took more than seven hours because I took rests a couple of times.

When I arrived in Las Vegas, I saw many tourists but their age looked older than that of people who I saw in this summer.

I entered the parking of Aria and parked my care. I went to the convention center which is located next to Zarkana's hall.

Experienced peopel know benchmarks

I just came up with an idea that "experienced people" of business are people who know several "benchmarks" in different fields.

Encounter of new students

I met new students from China as the international club lunch. They haven't their major yet, but one was considering double major of Business and something, the other apparently had no clue.
After lunch we showed around our campus for one of them, and then we chat at the table in front of Starbucks on campus. It was very interesting that he know a lot of things in terms of history and politics in China even though he is 18 years old and still young. When I was that age, I couldn't talk anything about my country and political problems Lol


At night, in the CIS class, the topic was about the global internet. Because I'm very familiar with this field, at least more than other average students in my class, I could have fun!

Cafe cafe

To focus on study, I went to Old Plantation, a coffee shop I like.

Starbucks at Oakdale is one of my favorite Starbuck.This Starbucks was the best in this area because it's very spacious.

Berkeley / Ippuku / Pad Thai

BART was closed...maybe strike?

I visited my friend. He is a Ph. D student in Berkeley. We went to Ippuku, but it was too expensive. I moved to another Thai restaurant (happy) and shared Pat Thai. We talked a lot of topic. It was a very valuable and precious time.

Japanese brown curry & Del'Osso Farms Halloween Corn Maze

I made a Japanese curry and soused it on a rice with cheese and seaweed.

I went to Del'Osso Farms Halloween Corn Maze as my international club's event.

It was fun!!

Queen Bean N' Bistro234

I went to Queen Bean Coffee House again to do my homework. I ate Royal Dip, a mini sandwich with soup for dip. It was better than I thought. There are some big couch I still don't get how can they manage such a big house only as a cafe.

I could not focus on class tonight.

After class, I met my Iranian friends and went Bistro234 in downtown. I met a Saudi friend and another new student from Germany. It was very nice night!

Sightglass in SF

I went to Sightglass, my favorite cafe in SF, again. Even though it apparently has no WiFi, the atmosphere of this cafe is very nice.

Group picture and Norway traditional game

As a cover photo of our international club, we took a group picture on campus. After the picture was taken, some of us played a Noraditional Norwegian wood game.

I made a Japanese omu-rice for dinner.

SF Zoo

I went to San Francisco Zoo as my international club activity. We ate lunch in the zoo, and I left about 1 pm. I stopped by the beach beside the zoo. It was a nice view!

I went to Nijiya market at night and bought a lot of Japanese food. I think I tend to spend more money I predict every time.

Coming back from L.A.

I visted my old friend, who I met in Arizona, and went to Gaja okonomiyaki in Torrance. After that she told me a new boba shop. It was not bad. 

When I went back home, I stopped by Healty Japan in Tulare. It was really bad...

Middle Eastern Burger?

As my international club event, we went to George's Burgers. A burger which my friend order was so huge. Mine was good.

12 pages for 6 hours

I wrote up 12 pages of paper within 6 hours. I was exhausted... I do this everyweek... but I feel I'm getting good at company financial analysis.

IT Infrastructures

I knew SaaS (Software as a service) but I learned several word such as IaaS and PaaS. The trend of online business is more Cloud Computing lately.

Other things I did else on this day was that I went to the school gym and ate noodles four times this...
